I grew up in one of those Judeo-Christian homes that apparently strike terror in the hearts of the likes of Betty Friedan, Alan Grayson and Kathryn Joyce. My parents never had sex until they got married to each other. Theirs is an enduring...

Can You Be Part-way Pro-life?

It's great to know we aren't alone in reserving our vote for candidates who are 1oo% pro-life (or should I say, 100% against killing babies). Mary Ann Kreitzer, of the Catholic ministry, Les Femmes, www.lesfemmes-thetruth.org (no, I'm not Catholic), introduces a great article by Judie Brown.

"Judie Brown's article below is a bullseye!

"I stopped supporting NRLC years ago.

"When Pat Buchanan ran for president they helped deep-six his candidacy for their "pro-life" Republican Bob Dole. Dole was never pro-life unless you completely gut the word of meaning. His pathetic pandering of viagra shows he is not even a gentleman.

"NRLC has always been willing to wink at abortifacient birth control because they didn't want to take on "contraception." Back in the '70s they blacked out all news on the early rescue movement (sit-ins) which resulted in the reisignation of a friend of mine who was the editor of NRLC News at the time. They have always played it safe and will never endanger their seat at the table with the power-brokers.

"Did Jesus Christ adopt an incremental approach to salvation? These babies that NRLC is willing to abandon belong to HIM. And Bill Frist needs to be opposed by every true pro-lifer. There are some Catholics who are Democrats first and Catholic second. There are some Catholics who are Republican first and Catholic second. Then there are Catholics who don't believe our salvation rests with a political party. Pray and fight and don't support a single politician who is not 100% pro-life. The others will never fail to betray you!

"Pope Benedict XVI stresses that one of the biggest problems today is moral relativism. NRLC is a champion when it comes to excusing pro-abort politicians with elephant tiepins. Their adoption of moral relativism has made them morally irrelevant."

The Republicans have betrayed the most basic rights of millions of Americans: the unborn millions. Republicans have the White House, and a majority of both houses of Congress. If they intend to end abortion, when do they plan to do it? It was a Republican Supreme Court that gave us Roe v. Wade!

If you are looking for a party you can count on to back candidates who are 100% pro-life, check out the Constitution Party. It's the fastest growing third party in the nation. You'll like their platform. You'll love their candidates.
