New Links

I've just added two links: Exploring Homeschooling

94% of homeschoolers keep the faith and 93% continue to attend church after the high school years. But a shocking 75% to 85% of Christian children sent to public school drop out of church, and do not hold a Christian worldview after high school graduation.

and Government for the People.

The latter was passed along to me by 2006 sheriff candidate Ken Massey, and I love it. Every major election season, the Jacksons distribute the following questionaire to each judicial candidate. Answers are returned in paragraph form, giving voters something to go by!

1. Please describe your qualifications to be a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge.

2. Why do you want to be a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge?

3. Do you consider the U.S. Constitution to be a living document?

So if you live in LA County, please look into this excellent resource before you cast your vote next week!

And don't just check off the names recommended on the front page, either. Use the 2008 June Primary link, read up on the candidates, and if you'd like to dig a little further, you can access many of their responses to the questionaire from 2006 (under 2006 Judges Primary).

*(edit)Here's another website with information on the judges running.

Happy surfing!

Happy voting, too.
